Mock Crab Newburg - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shredded surimi (imitation crabmeat)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. green pepper, diced
    1/3 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced or canned
    2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    pinch of cayenne pepper
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. white wine
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Prepare surimi; set aside.
    Melt butter in saucepan; add green pepper, mushrooms and parsley and saute.
    Combine flour, salt, mustard and pepper.
    Blend into melted butter and vegetables.
    Add milk and wine; stir until slightly thickened.
    Place surimi into buttered seashells, ramekins, pastry shells or casserole dish and pour sauce over.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 12 minutes.
