Donuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large eggs
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix shortening and eggs.
    Sift flour and baking powder together.
    Add to eggs and shortening.
    Put milk in, then add rest of ingredients.
    Mix until smooth.
    Roll out dough using flour to sprinkle to keep from sticking.
    Cut out dough with cup, pulling the centers apart to make a hole.
    Fry until brown on both sides; roll in powdered sugar.
