Italian Meat Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or pork
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 1/2 c. tomato puree
    1 c. water
    2/3 c. tomato paste
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    16 oz. macaroni
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef or pork in large skillet.
    Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is tender.
    Stir in tomato puree, water, tomato paste, parsley, sugar, basil, salt and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes.
