Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef or chop suey meat, 1/2-inch cubes
    1 c. chopped onions
    5 c. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 c. soy sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can bean sprouts
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Bring meat to boil and pour off water.
    Add vegetables and enough water to cover meat and vegetables.
    Cook 1 hour.
    Add molasses, sugar, salt, pepper and soy sauce.
    Cook for another 1 1/2 hours.
    Ten minutes before it is done, add bean sprouts.
    When finished, thicken with cornstarch and water.
    Serve over cooked rice.
