Whole Wheat Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening (1 stick margarine)
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1/2 c. pecans
3 large bananas (very ripe)
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg and milk; mix well.
Stir in mashed bananas.
Sift dry ingredients together and mix with first mixture.
Add nuts.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
Bake in bread loaf pan at 325\u00b0.
Line pans with wax paper or grease and flour.
