Spuds And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cut in 1/2-inch pieces
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 cube butter or oleo
    6 eggs
    1/4 c. water
    3/4 c. flour
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Use a big kettle.
    Cover diced potatoes with 3 times as much water.
    Bring to a rolling boil, then leave on medium heat.
    While potatoes are cooking, mix eggs, water, salt and enough flour so dumpling mixture doesn't easily fall from spoon.
    Drop dumpling mixture by teaspoon into potatoes and water.
    Cook 5 to 10 minutes (will be dry in middle when done).
    Don't let boil too fast or dumplings will fall apart.
    When done, drain.
    Add sour cream and butter.
    Stir.
    Serves 4.
