Wilted Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. leaf lettuce, chopped
    3 spring onions, chopped
    5 slices bacon or fat back
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine lettuce and onions. Set aside.
    Fry bacon and drain. Combine salt and vinegar with grease. Bring to a boil and pour over lettuce and onions. Crumble bacon over mixture. Eat while warm.
