Mystery Cracker Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 crackers (Ritz)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 tsp. baking powder or 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    3 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Crumble crackers fine.\tMix first 4 ingredients together.
    Whip egg whites, sugar and vanilla until stiff.\tFold crumb mixture into egg whites.
    Pour into buttered pie pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Top with Cool Whip, shaved chocolate and chopped pecans or walnuts.
