Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas
    1 pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. currants or raisins
    marshmallow cream
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Blend in bananas.
    Stir in wafers, then pecans and raisins.
    Pour batter into two greased 9-inch round pans.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes. Cool completely. Spread one layer with marshmallow cream and cover with second layer.
    Sift powdered sugar over top.
