Great Grandmother'S Western Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 or 2 cans peach halves
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
5 dates, chopped
1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Blend 1 tablespoon peach syrup into cream cheese, mixing until fluffy.
Add finely chopped dates, chopped walnuts and grated orange rind.
Spoon onto peach half that has been chilled and drained.
Serve on greens.
Or spread peach halves with filling and top them with a second half to form a whole peach and serve. Makes enough filling for 5 to 8 peaches.
