Mother'S Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2/3 c. milk
    1 rounded Tbsp. shortening
    chicken broth (extra rich)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    chicken bouillon cubes to taste
    salt to taste
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, add flour.
    Cut in shortening and add milk to form dough.
    Roll out
    onto
    floured surface.
    Cut into strips.
    Bring broth, soup and bouillon
    cubes to a boil. Drop in strips, one at a time.
    Reduce
    heat.
    Never stir; you must shake the dumplings.
