Grits Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. grits
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 cubes margarine
    3 beaten eggs
Preparation
    Cook first 3 ingredients over moderate heat.
    Stir next 2 ingredients into grits. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs.
    Pour into greased 9 x 12-inch casserole (or any large enough casserole). Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Better if made early in a.m. or day before. Bake at dinnertime.
    Great with ham.
