No Fuss Lasagna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 (26 to 32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) part skim Ricotta cheese
1 egg, well beaten
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. dried basil leaves
6 uncooked lasagna noodles
2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preparation

Brown beef or turkey in a large skillet until no longer pink. Pour off drippings.
Add spaghetti sauce and tomatoes with liquid. Stir to combine and set aside.
In another bowl, combine Ricotta, egg, Parmesan cheese and basil.
Spread 2 cups beef sauce over bottom of 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
Add 3 noodles in single layer, pressing into sauce.
Top with all of Ricotta mixture, then 1 cup Mozzarella cheese.
Add 2 cups beef sauce, then 3 noodles pressed into sauce.
Top with remaining sauce.
Bake 50 minutes or until noodles are fork-tender.
Add remaining Mozzarella on top and tent lightly with aluminum foil.
Let stand 15 minutes.
Serves 8.
