Okra And Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
2 c. sliced okra
1 3/4 c. tomatoes
3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation

Cook okra until tender.
In saucepan, cook onion in 2 tablespoons margarine until tender (do not brown).
Blend flour and salt.
Add milk, all at once.
Cook and stir until thickened. Add cheese and stir until melted.
Fold in sliced okra and tomatoes.
Place into a one-quart casserole dish.
Combine bread crumbs with remaining margarine.
Sprinkle around edge of casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
