Molasses Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1/4 c. Brer Rabbit molasses
    1 egg
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Melt shortening and cool.
    Add sugar, molasses and egg.
    Beat well.
    Sift all dry ingredients; add to first mixture.
    Sit in refrigerator and chill.
    Roll in balls and roll in sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
