New England Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. corned beef
    8 potatoes, peeled and halved
    1 head cabbage, cut into eights
    8 carrots, peeled and halved
Preparation
    Cover meat with cold water.
    Simmer 2 hours.
    Add vegetables and continue to simmer 1 hour more.
    Drain and serve.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
