Ingredients

2 heaping c. cut up rhubarb
2 c. sugar
dash of salt
nutmeg
butter
1 c. sugar
lard (size of a walnut)
1 egg
1 c. sour milk
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. each: soda and baking powder
Preparation

Sift flour with soda and baking powder.
Pour over rhubarb and bake at 375\u00b0 until done.
