Tahitian Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 can (13 1/2 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. green pepper strips
    1 (12 oz.) can canned meat, Prem, Spam or Treet, cubed
Preparation
    Mix brown sugar and cornstarch and add the syrup drained from pineapple cubes; add the 1 cup water and 2 tablespoons vinegar. Cook, stirring constantly, until clear and thick.
    Stir in cubed meat, pineapple cubes and the pepper strips.
    Cook over low heat until heated through.
    Serve over cooked rice.
    Serves 4.
