Sawdust Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pastry shell
    1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. egg whites (6 or 7)
Preparation
    Line a pastry lined 9-inch pie plate with a double thickness of foil.
    Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven for 8 minutes.
    Remove foil. Bake for 4 to 5 minutes more until golden.
    Cool on a wire rack.
