Chicken Dressing Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 chicken breasts
    1 medium onion, diced
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    3 c. finely chopped celery
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can mushrooms, drained
    2 c. reserved liquid
    3 c. herb seasoned croutons
Preparation
    Stew the first five ingredients with water until chicken can easily be removed from the bone.
    Reserve 2 cups liquid until later.
    Remove all bones and skin.
    Cut chicken into bite size pieces and arrange on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Arrange drained mushrooms on top of chicken.
