Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. regular sausage, cooked and drained
10 eggs, lightly beaten
3 c. milk
2 tsp. dry mustard
8 oz. shredded sharp cheese
6 c. cubed bread
1/2 tsp. pepper (black)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. mushrooms (optional)
1/2 c. green onion (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In large bowl, combine eggs, milk, mustard and salt. Distribute half of bread evenly in a buttered 9 x 13 x 2 baking dish. Sprinkle half pepper, half cheese, half sausage and half of each optional ingredient. Repeat layering, using remaining bread, pepper, cheese, sausage and optional ingredients. Pour egg mixture over casserole. Bake, uncovered, for 55 to 60 minutes until eggs are set. Makes 6 servings.
