Pineapple Cream Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. lemon jello
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 c. cottage cheese
    1 carton Cool Whip
    1 c. pecan pieces
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water.
    Heat pineapple and sugar until sugar is dissolved and add to jello.
    Refrigerate to chill until syrupy.
    Then add cottage cheese, Cool Whip and pecans pieces; refrigerate until firm.
    This is a double batch.
