Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. hash browns, thawed
    1 1/2 cups shredded Pepper jack cheese
    1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    1 cup (or more) sour cream
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 jar (2 oz.) diced pimientos, optional
    1 cup fresh bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/3 cups French fried onions
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine first seven ingredients.
    Mix well. Spread into an ungreased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
    Toss bread crumbs with butter;
    sprinkle over casserole.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes or until bread crumbs are golden brown and mixture is bubbly.
    Sprinkle French fried onions over casserole.
    Bake five minutes longer or until onions are golden.
