Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
    3 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    3 c. strawberries
    3/4 c. currant or apple jelly
Preparation
    Beat cream cheese until soft and smooth.
    Spread mixture into bottom of baked pie shell.
    Fill with strawberries; gently press into cheese.
    Over low heat, melt jelly.
    Stir until smooth, cool and spoon over berries.
    Refrigerate and serve.
