Pecan Teasers - cooking recipe

Ingredients

12 strips bacon - chopped
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 tsp. grated onion
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt - optional
bread

Preparation

Bread slices may be cut into shapes with a cookie cutter - stars are nice at Christmas.
Cook bacon until very crisp and drain.
Blend other ingredients with bacon.
Spread bread lightly with butter,
then spread mixture.\tBake at 350\u00b0 until lightly brown about 5-7 minutes.
