Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 envelopes Knox gelatine
    3/4 c. cold water
    3 c. milk, heat but don't boil
    3 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. white vanilla
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 qt. cream
    7 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix gelatine and water. Add scalded milk. Mix well. Add sugar, vanilla and salt.
    Add cream and milk. Freeze. Makes 6 quarts.
