White House Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. navy beans
    3 ham hocks
    1 c. onions
    1 c. celery
    2 c. carrots
    2 c. potatoes
    salt and pepper
    thyme
Preparation
    Clean and soak beans overnight.
    Cover with water.
    Add diced carrots, potatoes, onions and celery.
    Add ham hocks.
    Cook 2 hours.
    Add thyme, salt and pepper.
    Serve.
