Lucy'S French Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. minus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pt. sour cream
    grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
    5 jumbo eggs, separated (or 6 large eggs minus 1 yolk)
Preparation
    Beat cream cheese and sugar with an electric mixer until sugar no longer looks granular.
    Mix in egg yolks, vanilla, sour cream, lemon juice and grated lemon rind.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold gently, but well, into cheese mixture.
    Pour into lightly baked pastry-lined spring-form pan.
