Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. melted margarine
2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. oregano leaves
1/2 tsp. garlic salt or garlic powder
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Cut shortening into flour until mixture resembles bread crumbs.
Add milk; mix with fork.
Turn out on cloth, roll out and cut into 1/2-inch wide strips, about 3 inches long.
Dip in melted butter; roll in mixture of Parmesan cheese, oregano and garlic salt.
Place on lightly greased baking sheet; bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Great with basic sauce or cheese sauce.
