Salt Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. canning salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
2 qt. cucumbers, cut in chunks
red pepper (optional)
dill seed (optional)
Preparation

Place 6 green grapes in a quart jar, then pack small washed cucumbers to fill the jar.
Add 3 more green grapes, 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon salt. Fill jar to 1-inch of top with a mixture of 1 part vinegar to 1 part water.
Boil seals. Adjust on jars.
Place jars in hot water bath until the water comes to a boil.
