Waikiki Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. chicken breasts
seasoned flour
1/3 c. shortening
1 can chicken gravy
1/2 c. pineapple chunks
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 small can Mandarin oranges
2 c. instant rice, cooked in 2 c. water
Preparation
-
Coat chicken pieces with flour.
Brown in shortening.
Pour on gravy and pineapple chunks.
Stir in ginger, cover and simmer at 220\u00b0 on top of the stove for 25 minutes.
Add oranges.
Simmer 5 minutes more.
Serve with hot cooked rice.
