Beef And Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef in shortening.
    Add onion and celery.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Add tomatoes, salt and pepper.
    Place half in bottom of casserole.
    Cover with half of cabbage; repeat layers.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
