Eggplant Fries And Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium eggplants (about 2 1/2 lb.)
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    oil
    chunky salsa
Preparation
    Peel eggplant.
    Cut into strips.
    Combine flour, cornmeal and salt.
    Stir in milk and egg until moistened.
    Roll eggplant in batter.
    Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
    Drain well.
    Serve salsa.
