Ham A La King - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
3 Tbsp. margarine
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 pimento, diced
2 Tbsp. flour
1 3/4 c. milk
1 c. diced, cooked ham
dash of paprika
salt
hot cooked noodles, rice or biscuits
Preparation

Saute green pepper in the butter in saucepan over low heat 5 minutes.
Add mushrooms and saute about 1 minute.
Remove green pepper and mushrooms and set aside.
Stir flour into pan liquid. Gradually add milk and cook, stirring, until thickened.
Add ham and heat, then add green pepper, mushrooms and pimento.
Heat, stirring gently.
Add paprika and salt to taste.
Serve on noodles, rice or biscuits.
Makes 4 servings.
