Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    salt
    1/2 c. milk
    nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    flour
Preparation
    Beat egg; add salt (to taste), milk, sprinkle of nutmeg and baking powder.
    Add enough flour to make it stiff.
    Do not beat; stir just enough to mix well.
    Drop into soup for the last 20 to 30 minutes.
    Cover and let simmer.
