Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan or 12-cup Bundt pan.
    Beat sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla in a large mixer bowl on low, scraping bowl constantly, for 30 seconds.
    Beat on high, scraping bowl constantly for 5 minutes.
    Beat in flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk on low speed.
    Pour into pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 70 to 80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into middle comes out clean.
    Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan.
