Butter Rolls - 1930'S - cooking recipe

biscuit dough
sugar
vanilla or cinnamon
Preparation

Use enough biscuit dough for a 9 x 7-inch pan or iron skillet (easy butter; we had no icebox so butter must be soft).
I could take these to school in my lunch bucket and trade to other children for apples or bananas that we didn't have.
They loved them, too.
