Granny'S Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. yellow-eyed or pea beans
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. dark molasses
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. salt pork
Preparation

Rinse beans and soak, covered, overnight.
Cook very slowly in water (on top of stove) until beans split open when blown on. Drain.
Place beans in bean pot with pork and other ingredients; cover with water.
Bake in moderate 350\u00b0 oven for 5 or 6 hours. Let water cover the beans until the last hour.
