Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. unsifted flour
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
5 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. soda
3 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add yeast mixture and buttermilk. Mix well.
Roll out on floured board and cut out as biscuits. They do not need to rise before baking. Bake at 400\u00b0 for approximately 20 minutes. Unused dough will keep up to a week if well covered and refrigerated. After cutting as biscuits, you may brush on a bit of melted margarine and turn over as Parker House rolls.
