Cajun Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) cans oysters, drained
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. sliced mushrooms
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 to 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimentos
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of potato soup
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook onion and celery in butter until al dente.
    Add mushrooms.
    Cook 1 minute over low heat.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk gradually until thickened.
    Add cheese; stir until melted.
    Add oysters, potato soup, pimentos and Tabasco. Heat until oysters curl, about 10 minutes.
