Peanut Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. corn syrup (light)
1 lb. Spanish peanuts
1/4 tsp. red food coloring
1/2 stick butter

Preparation

Bring to boil the first three ingredients.
Add peanuts and food coloring.
Cook to soft ball stage (245\u00b0).
Remove from heat and add butter.
Mix until you can't stir.
Drop onto wax paper.
