Overnight Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped red onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped, peeled cucumber
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan
    1/2 lb. crisp bacon
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    tomato wedges
    juice of 1 large lemon
Preparation
    Break lettuce into bite-size pieces.
    Cover bottom of shallow glass pan.
    In layers, sprinkle over lettuce: celery, onion, peppers and cucumber.
    Combine sour cream, lemon juice, mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar.
    Pour mixture over salad, but
    do not toss.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
    Before serving, crumble bacon over top and decorate with tomato wedges.
