Yum-Yum Gems - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. sour milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cloves
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. nutmeats
Preparation
    Blend shortening, sugar and egg.
    Add sour milk.
    Stir in sifted ingredients and add raisins and nuts.
    Pour in cupcake tins and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
    This makes 1 dozen large or 2 dozen small cakes.
