Yum-Yum Gems - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. sour milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. nutmeats
Preparation
-
Blend shortening, sugar and egg.
Add sour milk.
Stir in sifted ingredients and add raisins and nuts.
Pour in cupcake tins and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
This makes 1 dozen large or 2 dozen small cakes.
