Pastel Meltaways - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. cornstarch
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine butter and powdered sugar.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Stir in cornstarch and flour.
    If necessary, chill dough 30 minutes for easier handling.
    Shape the dough about the size of a nickel (1/4-inch thick) in a round ball.
    Bake 10 to 13 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
    Lightly brown around edges.
    Let cool and frost.
