Chess Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. raisins, chopped and floured
    1/3 c. flour
    tart shells
Preparation
    Cream sugar with butter.
    Mix in egg yolks (save whites for meringue).
    Add milk, then raisins, then flour.
    Pour into tart shells and bake about 15 or 20 minutes at around 375\u00b0.
    Then top each pie with meringue and put in oven until browned.
