Summer Garden Vegetable Medley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 c. young green beans, cut in thirds
    1 c. fresh zucchini or yellow squash, cut in rounds
    1 c. broccoli
    2 carrots, cut in thin slices
    1 green pepper, in thin strips
    1/2 small head cabbage, chopped
    2 small tomatoes, cut in wedges
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. crisp croutons
Preparation
    Prepare all vegetables and drain.
    Place butter and vegetables in a large skillet.
    Add water, salt and pepper.
    Cover and steam cook 12 minutes, until just tender-crisp.
    Stir in cheese and croutons.
    Serve at once.
