Ham And Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. navy beans
    1 ham bone (with some meat on)
    2 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 cans or 1 qt. tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight in cold water. Drain. Cover beans and ham with 3 quarts of water. Add other ingredients and simmer at least 5 hours. Remove ham bone and cut meat into small pieces.
    Return to soup.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
