Crispy Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 lb. large onions, sliced and separated into rings
Preparation
    Sift flour, meal and baking powder. Add oil, eggs and milk. Mix thoroughly. Dip onion rings into batter. Fry in vegetable oil for 2 to 3 minutes each side, until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
