Pineapple-Cherry-Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 small can crushed pineapple, well drained
1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped (reserve a few for garnish)
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Beat in eggs.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Stir in pineapple, cherries and nuts.
