Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1/4 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 or 5 large apples
5 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Pare and slice apples; set aside.
Mix together 5 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
Beat together all remaining ingredients until smooth and thick.
Grease a 10-inch tube pan. Put a layer of batter, then a layer of apples, then sprinkle with sugar mixture.
Repeat two times.
Top with sugar mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
